As commercial roofing ages, leaks become more common. It will be prone to storm damage, and you may notice things like water stains or lifted areas. Maybe the condition of your historical roof is threatening the rest of the structure. You might see signs of wear-and-tear on your steep-slope roof, or you may wonder what you’re not seeing on your low-slope roof.
There’s only one way to know for sure, and that’s to schedule a free roof assessment with Detwiler Roofing. We specialize in government buildings, schools, historical landmarks, industrial buildings…anything commercial that needs honest, trustworthy, expert service.

The commercial roofing specialists at Detwiler Roofing have been inspecting, maintaining, repairing, restoring and replacing all types of roofs for more than ** decades. Our family-run business relies heavily on our reputation in the industry, and we uphold that with straightforward answers and special attention to your budget.
You don’t take roof replacement lightly, and neither do we. Before we recommend replacement, we always rule out all other options with thorough inspection and documentation.
A commercial roof inspection involves checking for structural damage; water stains; mold, mildew or moss; breaks or peeling around the flashing; rust or galvanic action; missing, curled or cracked shingles; and tears, holes or weaknesses in the roof.
We will document what we find on your roof with photos and a written report. In that report, we will certify your roof, list necessary repairs or recommend replacement.
If we do recommend replacement of your roof, we will draw up a quote, including the cost of all labor and materials. Occasionally, we will present you with estimates for both repair and replacement. More often, we suggest one or the other.
Now it’s time to submit a claim to your insurance company. An insurance adjuster will inspect your building’s roof, and one of our roofing specialists will be onsite to point out damage and/or deterioration. We will submit all paperwork, including the estimate, to your insurance company and support you in the claims process.
After the insurance company agrees to pay the roof replacement claim, we will order materials and have them delivered to your site. Our roof-replacement experts will work with minimal disturbance of your operations, adhering to the highest-level safety practices and taking care to preserve your building and its contents.
After the installation of your new roof is complete, Detwiler Roofing will recommend a regular roof maintenance schedule that will put you in compliance with city regulations, insurance and/or tax-break requirements. This will also extend the life of your roof, by pinpointing potential problems before they negatively affect its integrity.
No one wants to hear that their building’s roof needs replacing. But, when that day comes, the commercial roofing specialists at Detwiler Roofing are fully prepared to make the process informative and effortless for you.
